Dog walking
We offer group walking depending how socialised your dog is and solo walks if your dog has a nervous disposition. These are tailored to your dog's specific needs. We can arrange a 30 minute, 45 minute or an hourly walk.
Puppy sitting
We can arrange flexible puppy visits to your home and these can be arranged around your working arrangements. We will assist with your puppy's development which prioritises socialisation. Essentially we provide gentle handling by introducing them to a variety of sounds, human and canine interactions.
Cat sitting
Our services provide care for your cats which again are tailored to your individual circumstances. We focus on keeping your cat in their familiar environment and reducing travel stress. Daily 30 or 40 minute drop-ins are provided to refresh food/water scoop litter and offer playtime cuddles depending on your cat's personality. For kittens we offer safe handling and keep a close eye on their developing habits.

My name is Mandy Blacker. I am the owner of Fur-cation Petsitters.
I have nearly 30 years experience of dog ownership when I brought my first Golden Retriever puppy home. This inspired me to start a pet sitting business in the North East in 2014 and have since returned to my home county to continue my passion and dedication to care for animals.
My first book was published in 2019 about my life with Golden Retrievers. It was also very humbling and a privilege to receive an invitation by Lord Blunkett to write an article for the Parliamentary Review to showcase my business.
